Editorial & Content Review Policy

How RASOO prepares, reviews, and updates the ISO 9001 guidance on this site.

Reviewed by: RASOO Certification Consulting Team · Last reviewed: September 2026

This is not an independent news editorial policy — RASOO is a certification consulting company, and this page explains how our certification consulting content is prepared, not how a newsroom operates.

How Content Is Created

Guides on this site are prepared for general ISO 9001 certification guidance, drawing on the RASOO certification consulting team's practical experience preparing organizations for certification, combined with publicly available information from ISO and accreditation bodies where relevant.

Who Reviews Technical Content

Technical pages are reviewed by the RASOO Certification Consulting team before publication. We do not claim review by an external, independent editorial board — RASOO is the author and publisher of this site's content.

How Sources Are Selected

Where a page references external sources, we prioritize ISO's own publications, the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), and other recognized accreditation or standards bodies. We avoid citing low-quality SEO blogs, AI-generated content, or unsourced marketing articles — see our Content Methodology page for detail.

How Updates Are Handled

Pages are updated when their content is substantively affected by a change — a standard revision, a corrected fact, or new practical guidance. The "Last reviewed" date on each page reflects an actual review, not an automatic timestamp. Time-sensitive topics (currently: the ISO 9001:2026 transition page) are checked more frequently than general reference content.

How Corrections Are Made

If we find that a standard version, a publication date, or a technical requirement described on this site is incorrect, we correct it and update the page's "Last reviewed" date to reflect that the change is real. We do not silently leave known errors uncorrected.

How Commercial Content Is Distinguished

Pages under Services describe RASOO's own paid consulting services and are commercial by nature. Pages under Resources are written as general educational guidance and are not paid placements. Both funnel toward the same single product, the US$19 ISO 9001 Quick Check — we don't disguise commercial pages as independent reviews or vice versa.

What This Content Does Not Do

  • It does not replace certification body decisions or audits.
  • It is not approved or endorsed by ISO or any accreditation body.
  • It is not a substitute for reading the official ISO 9001 standard where precision matters.
